The PARKER A6MC8-MG is a push-to-connect tube-to-pipe connector fitting designed for fast, tool-free tube connections in fluid and pneumatic systems. Manufactured from polyoxymethylene (POM), this fitting accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing and threads into a 1/2 inch NPTF port. Rated to 300 psi, it provides a reliable, leak-resistant seal without ferrules, compression sleeves, or secondary tools. The tan POM body resists many common chemicals and offers good dimensional stability across a range of service temperatures. Plumbers, HVAC techs, and fluid system technicians install this type of fitting where quick tube-to-threaded-port connections are needed in tight spaces or high-cycle applications.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial fluid transfer, pneumatic control lines, and instrument tubing applications where NPTF threaded ports are present. Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement connector for systems using 3/8 inch OD tubing and 1/2 inch NPTF threaded ports in pneumatic or fluid transfer applications.
Installation is performed by plumbers or fluid system technicians following applicable IPC or pneumatic system codes. Before installing or removing the fitting, depressurize and isolate the line completely. To connect, push the tube firmly into the fitting collet until it seats; to disconnect, depress the release collar and withdraw the tube. Inspect the tube end for squareness and burrs before insertion, as a damaged tube end can compromise the internal seal.
