The PARKER A6BU4-MG is a push-to-connect bulkhead union tube fitting designed to pass tubing through a panel or bulkhead wall while maintaining a secure, leak-resistant connection. Constructed from polyoxymethylene (POM), a rigid engineering thermoplastic, it handles pressures up to 300 psi and accepts tubing with a 3/8-inch OD on one side and a 1/4-inch OD on the other. The push-to-connect design eliminates the need for tools or solvents at connection time, reducing installation labor. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid-system installers working with pneumatic or liquid distribution lines are the primary users of this fitting.
This fitting suits residential and light commercial applications where tubing must pass cleanly through a panel, enclosure wall, or bulkhead while transitioning between two different tube sizes. Typical install scenarios include HVAC condensate or pneumatic control lines, water-treatment equipment, and fluid-handling systems that use push-to-connect tubing networks. The tan POM body offers good chemical resistance for use with water, compressed air, and many common process fluids.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement or new-install fitting for systems using 3/8-inch and 1/4-inch OD tubing routed through a bulkhead or enclosure panel.
Installation is performed by qualified plumbers, HVAC technicians, or fluid-system technicians. Before installing, depressurize and isolate the fluid or pneumatic circuit completely. Ensure tubing ends are cut square and deburred before seating into the fitting to prevent internal seal damage. Verify the bulkhead locknut is torqued hand-tight plus a firm quarter-turn to secure the fitting body to the panel without cracking the POM housing.
