The PARKER A5MTS6-MG is a push-to-connect male swivel branch tee tube fitting designed for use in pneumatic and fluid distribution systems. It accepts 5/16 inch OD tubing via a tool-free push-to-connect mechanism and features a 3/8 inch NPTF male swivel thread on the branch port. The body is molded from POM (polyoxymethylene), a rigid, chemically resistant acetal resin. An EPDM O-ring provides the thread-side seal. Rated to 300 psi, this fitting suits compressed air lines and compatible fluid circuits where a reliable tee branch connection is needed. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system installers are the typical end users.
The A5MTS6-MG is suited for light industrial, commercial HVAC, and pneumatic control applications where branch distribution from a main tubing run is required. The male swivel design allows the branch port to be oriented without stressing the tubing or upstream fittings during installation. It is compatible with standard 5/16 inch OD semi-rigid or flexible tubing commonly used in pneumatic control circuits, instrument air lines, and refrigeration equipment auxiliary lines. The gray POM construction keeps the fitting lightweight at 0.05 pounds.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement or new-installation fitting for pneumatic and fluid systems using 5/16 inch OD tubing and 3/8 inch NPTF branch port connections.
Installation is performed by plumbers, pipefitters, or HVAC technicians working on pneumatic or fluid distribution systems. Depressurize and vent the line completely before removing or inserting any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut square and free of burrs before seating it into the push-to-connect collet. Verify that the NPTF thread engagement is sufficient and that the swivel O-ring is seated and undamaged before returning the system to pressure.
