The PARKER A5MTS2-MG is a push-to-connect male swivel branch tee tube fitting designed for tube-to-pipe connections in pneumatic and fluid-handling systems. It accepts 5/16-inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect ports and terminates with a 1/8-inch NPTF male threaded branch outlet. The body is molded from POM (polyoxymethylene), a rigid acetal resin rated to 300 psi, making it well-suited for compressed air, low-pressure hydraulics, and general instrumentation lines. The swivel design on the branch outlet allows the male thread to be oriented during installation without rotating the tubing. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance techs install this fitting where a branch tee connection is needed without cutting or flaring tubing.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications including pneumatic control lines, HVAC condensate and sensor tubing, refrigeration instrumentation, and general-purpose fluid distribution systems. The push-to-connect mechanism allows fast, tool-free tube insertion on the straight-through ports, reducing labor time on multi-connection manifolds or control panels. The gray POM body and EPDM O-ring seals are compatible with a range of fluids including water, air, and many mild chemicals. It is sold individually and is appropriate wherever a compact branch tee with an NPT port is required.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for use with 5/16-inch OD tubing and 1/8-inch NPTF male threaded ports in pneumatic, HVAC instrumentation, and general fluid-handling plumbing assemblies.
Installation is performed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or qualified industrial maintenance personnel. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect port; a deburring tool is recommended. Apply appropriate thread sealant to the NPTF male threads per the system fluid and local plumbing code requirements before tightening into the mating port.
