The PARKER A5BU5-MG is a push-to-connect bulkhead union tube fitting designed to join two tube lines through a panel or bulkhead wall without the need for tools or thread engagement. Constructed from polyoxymethylene (POM), a high-rigidity acetal thermoplastic, the fitting accepts 5/16 inch OD tubing on each end and holds rated pressure up to 300 psi. The tan-colored body is suited for fluid transfer applications in pneumatic and low-pressure hydraulic systems. Installation requires only pushing the tube into the fitting until it seats, making it a fast and repeatable connection for production, maintenance, and service environments.
This bulkhead union is used in applications where tubing must pass through and be secured to a panel, enclosure wall, or chassis. Typical install scenarios include pneumatic control panels, refrigeration equipment line sets, fluid distribution manifolds, and HVAC auxiliary drain or fluid-sensing lines. The POM body resists many common fluids and provides dimensional stability across a moderate temperature range. It is sold individually and is appropriate for both original equipment manufacturing builds and field replacement work performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and mechanical service pros.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation push-to-connect bulkhead union for systems using 5/16 inch OD tubing in pneumatic or low-pressure fluid applications.
Installation is performed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, or mechanical trades familiar with push-to-connect fittings. Before servicing an existing line, depressurize and de-energize the system completely. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs before insertion — a ragged cut is the most common cause of leaks with push-to-connect fittings. Verify the panel hole diameter matches the bulkhead fitting body before mounting to ensure a secure, leak-free seal.
