The PARKER A4TEB4 is a push-to-connect tube elbow barb connector designed for use in pneumatic and fluid-transfer tubing systems. It accepts 1/4-inch OD tubing and creates a 90-degree directional change in the line without tools. The body is molded from POM (polyoxymethylene), a rigid engineering thermoplastic well-suited for low-to-moderate pressure applications. The o-ring is EPDM, which provides reliable sealing compatibility with water, air, and many common fluids. Rated to 300 psi, this fitting is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial maintenance trades wherever a compact, push-fit elbow connection is required.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications including pneumatic control lines, water treatment equipment, RO systems, ice makers, and HVAC condensate or instrument tubing runs. Its compact 1-inch body length makes it practical in tight panel or cabinet installations where a standard compression elbow would be difficult to seat. The gray POM construction is chemical-resistant and dimensionally stable across a broad service temperature range.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for systems using 1/4-inch OD tubing in pneumatic, water, or instrument-line applications.
Installation does not require tools — insert tubing fully until it seats against the internal collet. Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before connecting or disconnecting any fitting. Verify that the tubing OD is exactly 1/4 inch and that the cut end is clean and square to ensure a leak-free seal. Licensed plumbers or qualified HVAC technicians should confirm that fitting materials are compatible with the specific fluid media and operating pressure of the system before installation.
