The PARKER A4TCB4 is a push-to-connect tube to barb fitting designed for quick, tool-free tube connections in fluid and pneumatic systems. It transitions from a 1/4 inch OD tube on the push-to-connect end to a barbed outlet for hose or tubing attachment. The body is molded from polyoxymethylene (POM), a rigid engineering thermoplastic with good chemical resistance, and the O-ring is EPDM for reliable sealing across a range of media. Rated to 300 psi, this fitting is suited for low- to medium-pressure lines where a secure, leak-resistant connection is needed without threading or compression tools.
This fitting is used in pneumatic control lines, fluid distribution systems, and instrumentation tubing runs found in HVAC, refrigeration, pool equipment, and light industrial applications. The push-to-connect design allows fast field installation and simplifies replacement work when access is limited. The gray POM body is compatible with many common process fluids and resists moisture and mild chemicals encountered in typical service environments.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for systems using 1/4 inch OD tubing, compatible with pneumatic and fluid lines where POM body material and EPDM O-ring sealing are appropriate for the media and operating pressure.
Installation is performed by depressurizing and isolating the line before connecting or disconnecting tubing. Insert tubing straight into the push-to-connect end until it seats fully; ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely for a leak-free seal. To release the tube, depress the collet ring while pulling the tubing out. Verify the barbed end is secured with an appropriate clamp or fitting for the hose type in use.
