The PARKER A4ME4-MG is a push-to-connect male elbow tube fitting designed for tube-to-pipe connections in compressed air, pneumatic control, and light fluid distribution systems. It accepts 1/4 inch OD tubing on the push-in end and connects to 1/4 inch NPTF threaded pipe ports on the male thread end. The body is molded from polyoxymethylene (POM), a high-strength acetal resin that resists moisture, fuels, and common shop chemicals. Rated to 300 psi, this fitting is suited for moderate-pressure pneumatic and instrumentation lines. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance techs install this type of fitting where a 90-degree direction change is needed between tubing and a threaded port.
This fitting is used in residential and light commercial applications wherever push-to-connect plumbing or pneumatic runs need to change direction at a threaded male port. Depressurize and isolate the line before removing or installing any fitting. Insert tubing straight and fully into the push-in collet until seated; angled insertion can compromise the internal seal and grip ring. NPTF threads are self-sealing by design, but consult applicable system pressure requirements and local plumbing codes before completing the installation.
