The PARKER A4MC4-MG is a push-to-connect tube-to-pipe connector fitting designed for quick, tool-free tube insertion in fluid and pneumatic plumbing systems. Built from polyoxymethylene (POM), a rigid acetal-based thermoplastic, this connector handles pressures up to 300 psi. It accepts 1/4-inch OD tubing and connects to a 1/4-inch NPTF threaded port. The tan-colored body is easy to identify during installation. This fitting is installed by plumbers, HVAC technicians, and pneumatic system technicians wherever a fast, reliable tube-to-pipe transition is required without soldering, flaring, or compression tooling.
This connector is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, HVAC, and pneumatic control line applications. The push-to-connect design allows field assembly without specialty tools, making it practical for retrofit work, service calls, and new installations where tubing must terminate at an NPTF-threaded port. The POM construction provides good chemical resistance to many common fluids and resists moisture absorption, making it appropriate for water and air service lines in controlled environments.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect tube fitting for use with 1/4-inch OD tubing at any 1/4-inch NPTF-threaded port in fluid or pneumatic plumbing assemblies.
Shut off system pressure and depressurize all lines before installing or removing this fitting. Cut tubing squarely and deburr the end before insertion to ensure a proper seal in the collet mechanism. To release the tube, depress the release collar firmly before pulling the tube free. Verify that the mating port thread type is NPTF, as thread-form mismatches can result in leaks or damage to the fitting body.
