The PARKER A4CAP-MG is a push-to-connect tube cap designed to seal the open end of a 1/4-inch OD tube quickly and without tools. The fitting is molded from polyoxymethylene (POM), a rigid acetal resin that holds up to a rated 300 psi working pressure. The tan-colored body provides a visual reference in dense tubing runs. Technicians use this cap to terminate or temporarily block a pneumatic or fluid line, or to pressure-test a circuit segment. The push-to-connect design locks onto the tube on insertion and releases cleanly with a standard collar press, keeping service time short.
This tube cap is suited for light industrial, HVAC controls, pneumatic instrumentation, and plumbing applications where a 1/4-inch OD tube requires a secure, pressure-rated end seal. It is appropriate for both new installations and field modifications where a branch or run must be capped off without soldering, flaring, or compression tooling. Installers in commercial mechanical rooms and residential equipment bays both rely on push-to-connect caps for fast, repeatable closures.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect tube cap for 1/4-inch OD tubing in pneumatic and fluid control systems.
This fitting is installed by plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians. Before capping any line, depressurize and de-energize the circuit and verify the tubing end is cut square and free of burrs. Insert the tube straight into the fitting until it seats fully against the internal stop. To remove, depress the collar evenly around its circumference while pulling the tube out — do not twist the fitting body under load.
