The PARKER A3C is a steel pneumatic hose coupling nipple designed for quick-connect air line and pneumatic system applications. Built to ARO interchange standards, this nipple mates with ARO-style couplers and fits into Series 50 pneumatic coupling systems. The 1/4-18 female NPTF threaded connection delivers a pressure-tight seal suited for compressed air service. With a maximum working pressure of 300 psi and an operating temperature range of -40 degrees F to 250 degrees F, the A3C handles the demands of shop air systems, pneumatic tools, and industrial fluid transfer lines. Shut off and bleed all air pressure from the line before removing or installing any pneumatic coupling. Apply thread sealant appropriate for pneumatic service to the NPTF threads per the fitting manufacturer and applicable piping codes. Use a wrench on the hex flats to avoid distorting the coupling body. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 300 psi in service.
