The PARKER 934330 is a desiccant breather designed to protect hydraulic reservoirs, gearboxes, and fluid storage tanks from moisture and particulate contamination entering through the vent path. It filters and dries incoming air as pressure changes occur during normal system operation. The housing is constructed from plastic and features a male NPT (MNPT) threaded connection for secure mounting. At 3-7/8 inches in diameter, it is sized for industrial and mobile equipment reservoirs. Licensed technicians and fluid power specialists typically install this unit during routine fluid system maintenance or as an upgrade from standard vent caps.
The 934330 is suited for hydraulic systems, gearboxes, and fluid reservoirs on industrial machinery, mobile equipment, and agricultural equipment where ambient humidity or dusty operating conditions accelerate fluid degradation. The rated minimum operating temperature of -40 degrees F makes it appropriate for cold-climate and outdoor applications. It threads directly onto standard MNPT reservoir vent ports, replacing conventional breather caps that offer no desiccant or filtration function.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement desiccant breather for hydraulic reservoirs, gearboxes, and fluid storage tanks equipped with a standard MNPT vent port connection.
Installation is performed by qualified fluid power technicians or maintenance personnel. Depressurize and isolate the hydraulic or fluid system before removing the existing breather or vent cap. Thread the 934330 onto the MNPT vent port by hand, then snug with a strap wrench — avoid over-tightening plastic-housed fittings. Inspect the desiccant indicator (if present) periodically and replace the breather when the desiccant is saturated per the system maintenance schedule.
