The PARKER 8MSEL8N-B is a brass compression tube male elbow designed to connect compression tubing to a male NPT threaded port in a 90-degree configuration. It accepts a 1/2 inch compression fitting on one end and a 1/2 inch male pipe thread (MNPT) on the other, making it a reliable transition fitting for high-pressure fluid and gas lines. Rated to a maximum working pressure of 2200 psi, this elbow is built for demanding service in hydraulic, pneumatic, refrigeration, and instrumentation applications. The all-brass construction provides corrosion resistance and durability in both wet and dry environments. Shut off and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut before applying the manufacturer-recommended additional turns with a wrench to seat the ferrule — do not overtighten. Inspect tubing ends for squareness and burrs prior to assembly to ensure a leak-free seal.
