The PARKER 8MBT8N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube male branch tee designed for high-pressure, wide-temperature-range fluid and gas line applications. It features a tee configuration with compression connections on two ports and a male NPT threaded port on the branch, allowing a single fitting to transition between compression tubing and threaded pipe in one assembly. Rated to 6,300 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1,200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding industrial and process piping environments. It is typically installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, or instrumentation technicians working on high-pressure systems.
This fitting is suited for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, and process fluid systems where a branch takeoff from a compression tube run to a male NPT connection is required. The 316 stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive media, cryogenic service, and high-temperature process lines. It is commonly found in industrial plant piping, oil and gas instrumentation, and specialty HVAC or refrigeration systems requiring stainless fittings.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube branch tee for high-pressure instrumentation and process piping systems using 1/2-14 NPT threaded connections and standard compression tube ends.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with high-pressure compression fittings. Shut off and depressurize the system fully before removing or installing any fittings. Ensure tube ends are cut cleanly and squarely and are free of burrs before seating in the compression ferrule. Follow applicable codes including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for process piping when determining assembly requirements for high-pressure service.
