The PARKER 8FSC8N-B is a brass compression tube connector designed to join 1/2-inch OD tubing to a 1/2-14 female NPT threaded port. The compression end grips and seals the tube mechanically without soldering or brazing, while the FNPT end threads into a mating fitting, valve, or instrument port. Rated to 2200 psi maximum working pressure, this connector is suited for instrumentation, fluid power, and pneumatic plumbing lines where a reliable, leak-resistant connection is required. It is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians in both commercial and industrial service applications.
This connector is used wherever a transition from compression tubing to a female NPT threaded connection is needed. Typical applications include hydraulic and pneumatic control lines, instrumentation tubing runs, and general fluid-handling plumbing in commercial and industrial facilities. The brass construction makes it appropriate for water, air, oil, and compatible gas service lines where corrosion resistance and machinability are priorities.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for use with 1/2-inch OD tubing and 1/2-14 female NPT threaded ports in standard instrumentation and fluid-handling plumbing systems. Cross-references to Swagelok part number B-810-7-8.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembling any existing fitting or installing this connector. Thread the FNPT end into the receiving port using an appropriate thread sealant rated for the service fluid; do not overtighten. Verify the compression end is properly seated and the ferrule is fully engaged before returning the system to operating pressure.
