The PARKER 8FEL4N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube female elbow fitting designed to connect compression tube lines to female NPT-threaded ports at a 90-degree angle. With a maximum working pressure of 6300 psi and a temperature range of -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas handling applications. The 316 stainless steel construction provides excellent corrosion resistance in aggressive media environments. It is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians working with high-pressure tubing systems.
This fitting is suited for residential and commercial instrumentation, hydraulic, and pneumatic tubing systems where a compression-to-FNPT transition is required at a 90-degree bend. The 1/4-18 NPT thread size is a standard connection found across process control panels, refrigeration lines, compressed air systems, and industrial fluid circuits. Its wide temperature tolerance makes it appropriate for both cryogenic and high-temperature service applications.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube fitting for use in high-pressure instrumentation, hydraulic, pneumatic, and process piping systems requiring a 1/4-18 NPT female threaded port connection.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter or instrumentation technician following applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any compression fittings. Ensure the tubing end is cut square, deburred, and fully seated before tightening the compression nut. Do not overtighten, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
