The PARKER 8F-V12LN-SS is a straight-pattern needle valve designed for precise flow control in high-pressure fluid and gas systems. The body is constructed from 316 stainless steel with a polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) seal, making it well suited for corrosive media and demanding process environments. It accepts 1/2 inch FNPT connections on both ends and is rated to a maximum working pressure of 5,000 psi. At 2.76 inches overall length and 4.26 inches overall height, it fits in compact instrument and service manifold installations. The round handle allows controlled manual actuation. This valve is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians.
The 8F-V12LN-SS is used in industrial, commercial, and process piping applications where tight shutoff and fine flow regulation are required. Typical installations include hydraulic test rigs, chemical process lines, compressed gas headers, and instrument isolation service. The straight-body configuration suits inline runs where minimal space is available. The FNPT x FNPT end connections are compatible with standard NPT-threaded pipe and fittings common across industrial and HVAC hydronic systems.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation needle valve for 1/2 inch NPT threaded piping systems requiring high-pressure straight-pattern flow control with stainless steel construction.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician in accordance with applicable codes including ASME B31.3 for process piping. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing or installing any valve. Apply thread sealant rated for the service pressure and media to the FNPT connections. Do not exceed the rated working pressure of 5,000 psi.
