The PARKER 8003N-1A1-BX is a compressed air oil-water filter and separator designed to remove dust, oil, particulate, and liquid water from compressed air lines. It uses an automatic drain to discharge collected contaminants without manual intervention, keeping downstream equipment protected during continuous operation. The unit handles flows up to 25 CFM at a maximum working pressure of 250 psi and is rated for operating temperatures up to 130 degrees F. With 3/8 NPT end connections, it installs directly into standard compressed air distribution piping. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial maintenance personnel install this type of separator to protect pneumatic tools, control valves, and air-operated equipment from moisture and contamination.
This oil-water separator is suited for residential and light commercial compressed air systems where moisture and oil carryover from the compressor must be controlled before reaching sensitive downstream components. Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compressed air system plumbing. Depressurize and lock out the compressed air supply before installing or servicing this unit. Apply thread sealant appropriate for compressed air service to all NPT connections and verify all joints for leaks after pressurizing. Mount the separator in the correct flow orientation as indicated on the body, and ensure adequate clearance below the unit for auto drain discharge.
