The PARKER 8 LOHX6-S is a steel flared tube adapter designed for high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power plumbing connections. It features a Female Flare Swivel end on one side and an O-Ring Face Seal (ORFS) end on the other, allowing a reliable transition between these two common connection types. The adapter accepts a 1/2-inch tube OD with a 37-degree flare angle per SAE J514 and ISO 8434-2 standards. Rated for up to 5000 psi dynamic working pressure and a maximum working temperature of 500 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding industrial, mobile equipment, and hydraulic system applications. Licensed fluid power mechanics and hydraulic technicians are the primary installers.
This adapter is used wherever a Female Flare Swivel line must connect to an ORFS port on valves, pumps, cylinders, or manifolds. Typical install scenarios include mobile hydraulic systems, industrial machinery, and construction equipment. The swivel feature on the flare end allows for easier assembly and helps eliminate cross-threading and installation torque issues. It is sold and packaged individually and is appropriate for both new builds and field repair work.
