The PARKER 8 HLO-S is a compression tube union with an O-Ring Face Seal (ORFS) end connection, constructed from steel for use in high-pressure hydraulic and fluid power systems. This fitting joins two tube ends of equal outside diameter within a single inline body, maintaining a leak-free seal through a face-seating O-ring rather than a metal-to-metal taper. Rated to 9200 psi maximum working pressure, it is suited for demanding applications where vibration or pressure spikes could compromise conventional flare or compression joints. Licensed hydraulic technicians and fluid power specialists are the typical installers. The UNF thread standard ensures broad tool compatibility with standard hydraulic assembly equipment.

Torque to the fitting manufacturer specification using proper hydraulic assembly tooling; do not overtighten, as this can damage the O-ring or distort the sealing face.
