The PARKER 8-12 VTX-S is a steel male 45-degree elbow fitting designed for flared tube connections in high-pressure fluid and pneumatic systems. It features a 37-degree flare seat on the tube end and a male NPTF thread on the pipe end, creating a leak-resistant mechanical seal without the need for additional sealant tape on the tapered thread. Rated to 4000 psi maximum working pressure and a maximum working temperature of 500 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding service in hydraulic, refrigeration, and fuel-line applications. HVAC technicians, plumbers, and fluid-power mechanics install this type of fitting as a directional change in rigid or semi-rigid tubing runs.

Depressurize and isolate the system completely before disassembly or installation. The NPTF dry-seal thread is designed to seal without tape or compound, but verify compatibility with the mating port before assembly. Do not over-torque the flare nut, as excessive force can deform the flare seat and compromise the seal.
