The PARKER 73312BN3RNJ0 is a solenoid valve body designed for fluid control applications in HVAC, refrigeration, and industrial piping systems. It features a 3/8-inch port size, a brass body, and an NBR (Buna-N) elastomer seal. The valve is normally closed in its unactuated state, meaning flow is blocked until a compatible coil is energized. Note that this part requires a separately purchased integrated coil for complete, operational valve assembly. The Cv factor of 2.1 and a 3/8-inch orifice size are suited for moderate-flow control circuits. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians are the typical installers.
This valve body is appropriate for use in residential and light commercial systems where normally closed fluid shutoff is required, such as refrigerant liquid line control, water supply shutoff, or process fluid regulation. The NBR seal material is compatible with water, many refrigerants, and a range of petroleum-based fluids. Maximum operating temperature is 185 degrees F. Minimum operating pressure differential is 10 psi.
