The PARKER 73212BN3SN00 is a normally closed, direct-acting solenoid valve designed for fluid control in industrial and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and process systems. The valve body is brass with an NBR (Buna-N) elastomer seal and a 3/8-inch NPT port. It accepts a wide range of control voltages including 12 volts DC, 24 volts DC, 24/60 volts AC, 120 volts DC, 120/60 to 110/50 volts AC, and 240/60 to 220/50 volts AC, making it adaptable to a broad set of control circuits. Maximum working pressure is 300 psi. An integrated coil is required for complete valve operation and must be ordered separately if not already on hand.
This valve is suited for residential and commercial installations where automatic shut-off or flow control is needed on water, air, or compatible fluid lines. Typical applications include HVAC condensate or water supply lines, plumbing isolation, and light industrial process piping. The normally closed configuration means the valve defaults to shut when de-energized, which is the preferred fail-safe position in most flow-control applications. Apply thread sealant appropriate for the media being controlled and do not over-torque the NPT connections into the valve body. Verify that the system operating pressure differential remains at or above 5 psi for reliable valve actuation.
