The PARKER 72338254 is a push-to-connect union tube fitting designed for fast, tool-free connections in pneumatic and fluid-transfer plumbing systems. Built from bio-sourced Nylon 11, it accepts tubing with a 3/8 inch outside diameter on both ends and holds a rated working pressure of 190 psi. The white-bodied fitting uses an EPDM O-ring seal to maintain a leak-free connection across a range of media, including water and select compressed-air applications. Plumbers, HVAC technicians, and industrial pipe fitters install this fitting where a straight inline union is needed without additional tools or fittings hardware.
This push-to-connect union is suited for residential and light commercial plumbing, pneumatic control lines, and fluid distribution systems where 3/8 inch OD tubing is the specified line size. The push-to-connect design allows fast field assembly and disassembly, reducing labor time on service calls and new installations. The Nylon 11 body material offers good chemical resistance and is appropriate for applications that call for a lighter-weight alternative to brass or stainless fittings. Each unit ships in a package quantity of 10.
Designed for use with 3/8 inch outside diameter tubing in pneumatic and fluid-transfer plumbing systems. Confirm media and pressure compatibility with Nylon 11 and EPDM before installation.
Install this fitting in systems that are fully depressurized and drained before making or breaking any connections. Ensure the tubing end is cut cleanly and squarely with a tube cutter to guarantee a proper seal at the O-ring. Push the tube firmly into the fitting until it seats against the internal stop. To release the tube, depress the collet ring and pull the tubing out. Follow applicable plumbing or pneumatic system codes, including IPC or IFGC guidelines where relevant.
