The PARKER 71315SN2KNJ1 is a direct-acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed for precise fluid and gas control in industrial and mechanical systems. Built with a stainless steel body and NBR seal, it handles a maximum working pressure of 125 psi and operates across a wide voltage range including 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 24/60 Vac, 120 Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50 Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50 Vac. The 1/4 inch NPT port and 3/32 inch orifice make it suited for low-flow applications. An integrated coil is required for complete valve operation. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial mechanics install this valve in automated fluid control circuits.
This valve is used in residential and light commercial applications where a compact, normally closed, direct-acting solenoid is required. Its stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive media or washdown environments. The zero minimum operating pressure differential means it functions on systems without a pressure drop across the valve, expanding its use to low-pressure or gravity-fed circuits. Typical installations include refrigeration, chemical dispensing, water treatment, and pneumatic or hydraulic control panels where reliable on/off fluid shutoff is needed.
Designed as an OEM-style direct-acting solenoid valve for use in systems requiring a 1/4 inch NPT normally closed valve with stainless steel construction and NBR seals. An integrated coil must be specified separately to complete the valve assembly.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with the relevant fluid system and applicable codes such as NEC for electrical connections. De-energize and depressurize the system fully before removing or installing the valve. Verify that the selected coil voltage matches the supply circuit before energizing. Do not exceed the 125 psi maximum working pressure or the 185 degrees F maximum temperature rating.
