The PARKER 71315SN1KNJ1 is a direct acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed for precise on/off fluid or gas control in demanding industrial and process systems. The valve body is constructed from stainless steel with an NBR seal, making it well suited for corrosive or sanitary environments. It accepts a wide range of control voltages including 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 24/60 Vac, 120 Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50 Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50 Vac, giving installers flexibility across multiple electrical systems. The 1/8 inch NPT port and 3/32 inch orifice support a Cv factor of 0.17, and the valve is rated to a maximum working pressure of 125 psi. Licensed industrial maintenance technicians, HVAC mechanics, and process piping professionals are the typical installers.
This valve is suited for use in compact fluid or gas control circuits where a normally closed, zero-minimum-differential-pressure design is required. The direct acting configuration means the valve will open under power even at zero line pressure, making it appropriate for low-flow or intermittent-flow circuits in industrial automation, OEM equipment, laboratory systems, and light process piping. Its multi-voltage coil compatibility supports both North American and international voltage standards, broadening the application range across equipment designs.
Designed as an OEM-style direct acting solenoid valve for 1/8 inch NPT piping systems requiring normally closed operation. Note that an integrated coil is required to complete the valve assembly; the coil is included with this unit.
Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with fluid or gas piping and low-voltage electrical controls. Shut off system pressure and de-energize all associated electrical circuits before beginning work. Ensure thread sealant is applied in accordance with applicable piping codes and that the valve body is oriented per the manufacturer flow-direction markings. Do not exceed the rated maximum working pressure of 125 psi or the maximum temperature rating during operation.
