The PARKER 71215SN33NHP is a normally closed solenoid valve body designed for fluid control applications in industrial and commercial systems. With a 3/8-inch port size and a matching 3/8-inch orifice, this valve body provides reliable on/off flow control when paired with a compatible integrated coil. The body is constructed from stainless steel with an NBR seal, making it well suited for use with water, air, and a range of compatible media. A Cv factor of 2.0 supports consistent flow performance. This valve body is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or industrial mechanical technicians depending on the system and application.
This valve body is appropriate for use in residential and light commercial fluid or gas control systems where a normally closed, two-position solenoid valve is required. Typical install scenarios include water treatment systems, irrigation controls, HVAC fluid circuits, and compressed air lines. The minimum operating pressure differential is 0, allowing the valve to open even at low pressure differentials. Maximum operating temperature is 185 degrees F. Note that an integrated coil is required to complete the valve assembly and must be sourced separately.
Designed as a solenoid valve body for use in industrial and commercial fluid control systems requiring a 3/8-inch normally closed configuration. An integrated coil compatible with this valve body must be selected separately to complete the assembly.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or industrial mechanical technician familiar with local plumbing and mechanical codes. Shut off all fluid supply and relieve system pressure before removing or installing any valve component. Do not energize the coil or restore system pressure until all connections are confirmed leak-free and the coil assembly is fully seated. Refer to applicable IPC or IFGC requirements and the coil manufacturer instructions for electrical connection guidance.
