The PARKER 71215SN2VN00 is a direct-acting, normally closed solenoid valve designed for precise fluid and gas flow control in demanding industrial and commercial applications. Built with a stainless steel body and NBR seal, it handles a maximum working pressure of 70 psi and operates across a wide range of voltage inputs, including 12 Vdc, 24 Vdc, 24/60 Vac, 120 Vdc, 120/60 to 110/50 Vac, and 240/60 to 220/50 Vac. The 1/4-inch NPT port and 0.7500 Cv factor make it well suited for applications requiring controlled, repeatable flow through a compact body. An integrated coil is included but a compatible coil must be confirmed for complete valve assembly.
This valve is used in process control, fluid handling, and HVAC-adjacent systems where a normally closed, zero-minimum-pressure-differential valve is required. Its stainless steel construction and NBR seals support compatibility with a range of media, and the multi-voltage coil options allow installation across international electrical systems from 50 Hz to 60 Hz. It is appropriate for both residential and light commercial installations where CSA, UL, and NEMA 4X ratings are specified. Licensed technicians and industrial maintenance professionals are the typical installers.
Designed as a direct-acting normally closed solenoid valve for 1/4-inch NPT piping systems. Note that this valve requires a compatible integrated coil for complete valve assembly — verify coil selection before installation.
Installation should be performed by a licensed technician or qualified maintenance professional familiar with fluid control systems and applicable codes. Depressurize and de-energize the system fully before removing or installing the valve. Ensure the selected coil voltage matches the supply voltage before energizing. Observe flow direction markings on the valve body and apply appropriate thread sealant to NPT connections per local plumbing and process piping codes.
