The PARKER 6MSEL8N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube male elbow designed to connect compression tubing to a male NPT threaded port at a 90-degree angle. Rated for a maximum working pressure of 6600 psi and a temperature range of -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding fluid and gas handling applications. The 316 stainless steel construction provides corrosion resistance in aggressive media and harsh environments. It is installed by licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians in systems requiring reliable, leak-tight tube-to-pipe transitions.
This male elbow fitting is suited for use in hydraulic, pneumatic, instrumentation, and process piping systems where a compression tube connection must transition to a male NPT port. Its extreme temperature and pressure ratings make it appropriate for industrial, oil and gas, chemical processing, and high-purity instrumentation installations. The 1/2-14 NPT thread size is a common standard in commercial and industrial piping configurations.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube male elbow for industrial and instrumentation piping systems using 1/2-14 NPT threaded connections with compression tube ends.
Installation should be performed by a qualified pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Apply thread sealant to the NPT male threads in accordance with the applicable piping code, such as ASME B31.1 or ASME B31.3. Do not overtighten the compression nut, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal.
