The PARKER 6MSEL6N-B is a brass compression tube male elbow fitting designed to create a 90-degree directional change in a compression-to-male NPT tube line. The fitting connects a compression tube end to a male pipe thread port, making it a standard transition component in instrument, hydraulic, and fluid control tubing systems. It carries a maximum working pressure of 2300 psi and is sized at 3/8 inch, covering both the compression tube OD and the MNPT thread. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers of this fitting in both commercial and industrial settings.
This elbow is suited for applications where a rigid tube line must change direction and terminate at a threaded port on a valve, manifold, regulator, or equipment panel. The 3/8 inch compression-by-MNPT configuration is common in compressed air, hydraulic fluid, gas distribution, and instrumentation tubing runs. The all-brass construction makes it appropriate for use with copper, brass, or compatible soft-metal tubing in both indoor and protected outdoor environments. Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting for use in standard 3/8 inch compression tube systems terminating at male NPT threaded ports. The Swagelok equivalent reference for this fitting is B-600-2-6.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber, pipefitter, or qualified instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly. Depressurize and isolate the tubing system fully before removing any existing fitting or installing this elbow. Cut the tube end square, deburr thoroughly, and ensure the tube is inserted fully into the compression body before tightening the nut. Follow applicable codes such as the IPC or ASME B31 piping standards for the specific fluid service and pressure rating of the system.
