The PARKER 6MSC2N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join 3/8-inch OD tubing to a 1/8-27 NPT male threaded port. It provides a leak-tight mechanical seal without welding or brazing, making it well suited for instrumentation, process, and fluid-system applications where reliable tube-to-pipe transitions are required. Rated to 6600 psi maximum working pressure and a temperature range from -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this fitting handles demanding service conditions. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers.
This connector is used in industrial and commercial fluid systems where 3/8-inch OD tubing must terminate at a 1/8-27 NPT threaded fitting. Common applications include compressed gas lines, hydraulic instrument tubing, pneumatic controls, and high-pressure process piping. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive-media and high-temperature environments such as chemical processing, oil and gas instrumentation, and industrial HVAC systems.

Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician in accordance with applicable codes. Isolate and depressurize the system completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Hand-tighten the compression nut onto the fitting body, then advance with a wrench per the fitting manufacturer's assembly procedure — do not overtighten. Verify system integrity with a pressure test at appropriate line pressure before returning the system to service.
