The PARKER 6MBT6N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube male branch tee designed for high-pressure instrumentation and fluid system applications. It provides a three-way connection with two compression ends and one male NPT end, allowing a branch takeoff from a compression tube run while terminating into a threaded port. Rated to 6600 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this fitting is suited for demanding service environments including cryogenic, high-temperature, and corrosive-fluid applications. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers.
This fitting is used in industrial and commercial fluid handling systems where stainless steel construction and high-pressure ratings are required. Typical applications include instrument tubing runs, process control lines, hydraulic systems, and chemical service lines. The compression ends accept standard instrument tubing and the 3/8-18 NPT male thread connects directly to female-threaded ports on valves, manifolds, and instrumentation bodies. It is equally suited for gas or liquid service across a broad temperature range.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube fitting for instrumentation and fluid system tubing runs requiring a male branch tee configuration with NPT thread termination.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before disassembly or installation. Compression fittings require proper tube preparation including square-cut, deburred tubing ends to achieve a reliable seal. Follow applicable codes such as ASME B31.3 for process piping when determining system design pressure and installation requirements.
