The PARKER 6FSC4N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join compression tubing to female NPT threaded ports in high-pressure and extreme-temperature fluid or gas systems. With a maximum working pressure of 6600 psi and a temperature range of -425 degrees F to 1200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding industrial, instrumentation, and process piping applications. The 316 stainless steel construction resists corrosion in aggressive media environments. Thread size is 1/4-18 NPT. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the typical installers of this fitting type.
This connector is suited for use in high-purity instrumentation lines, process control tubing systems, hydraulic circuits, and cryogenic or high-temperature service where standard brass or carbon steel fittings are not appropriate. The compression x FNPT end configuration allows direct connection between compression tubing runs and female NPT-threaded equipment ports, valves, or manifolds. Common installation environments include refineries, chemical plants, power generation facilities, and HVAC hydronic instrumentation circuits requiring stainless steel wetted parts.
Designed as an OEM-style compression tube connector for instrumentation and process piping systems requiring 1/4-18 NPT female threaded port connections and compression tube ends in stainless steel construction.
Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or instrumentation technician familiar with compression fitting assembly procedures. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Compression fittings require proper ferrule seating and should be tightened to the fitting manufacturer's assembly procedure — do not over-tighten. Consult applicable codes including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for process piping systems where required.
