The PARKER 6FSC12N-316 is a stainless steel compression tube connector designed to join a compression tube end to a female NPT port in high-pressure and extreme-temperature fluid or gas systems. This fitting uses a 3/4-14 NPT thread and transitions from a compression connection to a female NPT (FNPT) end, providing a leak-resistant mechanical seal without welding. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 6600 psi and handles temperatures from -425 degrees F up to 1200 degrees F, making it suitable for demanding industrial, hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation applications. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians are the primary installers of this fitting.
This connector is suited for use in high-pressure process piping, instrumentation tubing runs, hydraulic systems, and cryogenic applications where extreme temperature resistance is required. The stainless steel construction makes it appropriate for corrosive environments, offshore installations, chemical processing lines, and any application where carbon steel fittings are not acceptable. Installation should be performed by a licensed pipefitter, plumber, or qualified instrumentation technician following applicable codes including ASME B31.1 or B31.3 for process piping. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Do not over-tighten the compression nut, as this can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal. Verify thread sealant compatibility with the process media before applying to NPT threads.
