The PARKER 6BLEN6-B is a compression tube end cap designed to terminate 3/8-inch outside diameter tubing in pressurized fluid systems. Constructed from brass, this end cap uses a compression-style end connection that creates a leak-tight seal without soldering or threading. It is rated for a maximum working pressure of 2300 psi, making it suitable for demanding hydraulic, pneumatic, and instrumentation applications. Plumbers, pipefitters, and instrumentation technicians install this fitting when a tube run must be permanently or semi-permanently capped at a termination point.
This end cap is well suited for residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC refrigerant piping, compressed air lines, and instrumentation tubing installations where a clean, reliable tube termination is required. The brass construction offers good corrosion resistance in water, air, and a wide range of fluid service applications. It is packaged individually and is appropriate for both new installations and retrofit or repair work on existing compression-fitting systems.
Designed as an OEM-style compression fitting end cap for use with 3/8-inch outside diameter tubing in compression-fitting systems. Cross-references to Swagelok part number B-600-C.
Installation is performed by plumbers, pipefitters, or instrumentation technicians following applicable IPC or system-specific codes. Depressurize and isolate the tubing system completely before installing or removing any compression fitting. Use two wrenches when tightening compression fittings to avoid twisting the tube. Do not overtighten, as this can deform the compression ferrule and compromise the seal.
