The PARKER 6BLEN6-316 is a stainless steel compression tube end cap designed to terminate a 3/8-inch OD tube line in high-pressure fluid or gas systems. The fitting accepts a 3/8-inch NPT thread and seals via compression, eliminating the need for welding or brazing at the termination point. Rated to 6600 psi maximum working pressure, this end cap handles demanding service conditions, including cryogenic environments down to -425 degrees F and high-temperature applications up to 1200 degrees F. Licensed plumbers, pipefitters, and industrial maintenance technicians install this type of fitting in instrumentation, process, and utility systems.
This end cap is suited for residential and commercial applications where a compression tube run must be capped off cleanly and securely. Typical use cases include shutting off a branch line during system modifications, blanking an unused port on a manifold, or protecting an open tube end during staged construction.
