The PARKER 68PTC-6-6 is a push-to-connect tube to male NPTF tube fitting manufactured from brass. It provides a fast, tool-free tube connection on one end and a male NPTF threaded connection on the other, making it suited for pneumatic and fluid line assemblies in mobile and commercial equipment. The fitting handles a maximum working pressure of 250 psi and operates across a temperature range of -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The nitrile O-ring seals the push-to-connect end for reliable, vibration-resistant performance. Licensed plumbers, fleet mechanics, and HVAC-R technicians install this type of fitting in compressed-air, brake, and fluid-transfer circuits.
This fitting is rated for D.O.T. truck and trailer applications and is compatible with SAE J844 Type A and Type B tubing. It meets D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J2494, and SAE J2494-3 specifications, making it appropriate for regulated mobile equipment brake and air-line circuits as well as general pneumatic plumbing in commercial vehicles and industrial assemblies. The 3/8 inch OD tube connection and 3/8 inch male NPTF thread make it a common interface size in these systems.
Designed for use with SAE J844 Type A and Type B tubing in D.O.T. truck and trailer applications. Accepts 3/8 inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect end and mates with 3/8 inch male NPTF threaded ports.
This fitting is installed by licensed mechanics or plumbers working on mobile equipment air and fluid circuits. Depressurize and drain the system fully before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tube ends are cut cleanly and squarely, deburred, and within SAE J844 Type A or B tolerance before insertion into the push-to-connect end. NPTF threads are dry-seal by design, but consult applicable D.O.T. and SAE service procedures for any sealant requirements on the threaded port connection.
