The PARKER 68PLPR-4M-M5 is a straight push-to-connect male connector fitting designed for pneumatic and fluid tubing systems. It joins a 4 mm outside diameter tube to a male M5 x 0.8 threaded port in a single inline configuration. The body is nickel-plated brass, rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure, and operates across a temperature range of 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The release button is silicone-free and meets the UL94 V-0 flame resistance standard. HVAC technicians, pneumatic system installers, and mechanical contractors install this fitting where compact inline tube connections are needed.
This fitting is suited for light-duty pneumatic control lines, instrumentation tubing, and small-bore fluid circuits using 4 mm OD tubing with M5 x 0.8 threaded ports. It is commonly found in HVAC control and actuation systems, pneumatic automation panels, and similar trade installations that require a leak-tight push-to-connect interface. The straight geometry keeps the connection in line with the tubing run, simplifying routing in tight enclosures or manifolds.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect fitting for pneumatic and fluid systems using 4 mm OD tubing with M5 x 0.8 threaded male ports.
A qualified technician should depressurize and de-energize the system before removing or installing this fitting. Thread the M5 x 0.8 male end into the port by hand first, then tighten with a wrench to the port manufacturer's specified torque using the 1/2-inch hex flats. Insert the tube straight and fully until it bottoms out in the collet; pull back lightly to confirm retention. To release the tube, press the yellow button firmly while pushing the tube inward slightly before withdrawing.
