The PARKER 68PLPR-4M-2G is a push-to-connect tube-to-male straight connector designed for quick, tool-free tube connections in pneumatic and fluid-handling systems. It accepts a 4 mm outside-diameter tube and terminates in a BSPP male thread, allowing direct connection to ported equipment or manifold bodies. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, this fitting handles working pressures up to 300 psi and temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The body is rated UL94 V-0 for flame resistance. A yellow release button allows tube removal without tools. Licensed HVAC, plumbing, and pneumatic technicians install this fitting in low-volume air and fluid lines.
This fitting suits residential and light commercial pneumatic control lines, compressed-air distribution, and fluid-transfer tubing runs where a secure, vibration-resistant push-in connection is required. The BSPP male thread end mates with metric-ported valves, solenoids, cylinders, and manifolds commonly found in European and ISO-standard equipment. It is appropriate for applications where silicone contamination must be avoided, such as paint-spray systems or certain sensor assemblies. Install location is typically in-line near a component port or at a panel bulkhead.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement fitting for pneumatic and fluid-handling systems requiring a 4 mm OD tube connection at a BSPP male-threaded port.
Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Insert tubing straight and fully into the collet until it seats to ensure a leak-free connection; angled insertion can damage the collet teeth. To release the tube, push the yellow button inward while simultaneously pulling the tube out. Verify BSPP thread engagement and use appropriate thread sealant per the equipment manufacturer and applicable plumbing or pneumatic codes before returning the system to service.
