The PARKER 68PLP-5/32-4LT is a push-to-connect tube-to-male fitting in a straight male connector configuration. It accepts 5/32-inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect end and threads into a 1/4-inch SAE male port on the other end. The body is nickel-plated brass rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure. The release button is black flame-resistant material rated UL94 V-0. This fitting is suited for pneumatic tubing runs in HVAC controls, refrigeration equipment, and light industrial pneumatic systems. Installation is handled by HVAC technicians, refrigeration mechanics, or pneumatic system installers.
This connector is designed for straight inline connections between 5/32-inch OD flexible tubing and a 1/4-inch SAE male threaded port. Typical applications include control air lines, instrument tubing, and pneumatic signal lines found in commercial and residential HVAC equipment, refrigeration controls, and compressed-air distribution panels. The push-to-connect design allows fast, tool-free tube insertion while still delivering a secure, pressure-rated seal suitable for continuous-duty pneumatic service within its rated temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or service fitting for pneumatic control systems using 5/32-inch OD tubing and 1/4-inch SAE male threaded ports, including HVAC pneumatic control panels, refrigeration instrument lines, and compressed-air distribution assemblies.
Depressurize and lock out the pneumatic circuit before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Thread the SAE male end into the port by hand first, then tighten with an appropriate wrench on the 9/16-inch hex — do not over-tighten. To insert tubing, push the cut-square tube end firmly into the collet until it seats; to release, depress the green collar button while pulling the tube back. Verify there are no leaks at both the thread joint and the tube collet before returning the system to service.
