The PARKER 68PLP-4M-M5 is a straight push-to-connect male connector fitting designed for tube-to-male threaded connections in pneumatic and fluid control systems. It accepts 4mm outside diameter tubing on one end and threads into an M5 x 0.8 male port on the other. The body is nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, making it suitable for applications where silicone contamination is a concern. Rated at 300 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting handles a service temperature range of 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The yellow release button allows for quick tube disconnection without additional tools. Licensed HVAC, pneumatic, and fluid power technicians regularly specify this fitting in compressed air and low-pressure fluid line assemblies.
This fitting is suited for light industrial, pneumatic control, and instrumentation applications where compact M5-threaded ports are specified. The 4mm tube OD is a common metric tubing size found in pneumatic solenoid valve manifolds, pilot circuits, and instrument air lines. Its compact overall length of 0.83 inches and 3/8 inch hex wrench flat make it practical for tight installation spaces. This fitting is sold individually and is appropriate for both new installations and field replacement on existing pneumatic assemblies.
Designed as an OEM-style push-to-connect replacement fitting for pneumatic systems using 4mm OD metric tubing and M5 x 0.8 threaded ports.
Installation is performed by pneumatic or fluid power technicians. Depressurize and isolate the affected circuit before removing or installing any fitting. Thread the M5 male end into the receiving port by hand first, then tighten with a 3/8 inch hex wrench to avoid cross-threading. To insert tubing, push the 4mm OD tube firmly into the collet until it seats; to release, depress the yellow release button and pull the tube straight out.
