The PARKER 68PLP-4M-4G is a straight push-to-connect male connector fitting designed for tube-to-male tube connections in compressed air and fluid distribution systems. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, this fitting accepts 4mm outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and uses a BSPP thread on the male end. It is rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure and handles temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. The yellow release button allows for quick, tool-free tube insertion and removal. Plumbers, pneumatic system technicians, and HVAC mechanics working with metric tube systems are the primary installers of this fitting.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic plumbing and fluid control applications where metric tubing connects to BSPP-threaded ports. Typical install scenarios include compressed air lines, pneumatic control circuits, and instrumentation tubing runs. The 4mm tube OD and BSPP thread type make this fitting particularly common in European-standard equipment and globally sourced pneumatic assemblies. The UL94 V-0 flame resistance rating of the push-to-connect body components makes it appropriate for installations where flame-resistance is a code or equipment requirement.
Designed for use with 4mm outside diameter tubing on the push-to-connect end and BSPP-threaded male ports. Suitable as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting in pneumatic and fluid systems specifying this tube size and thread standard.
Installation is typically performed by licensed plumbers or pneumatic system technicians. Depressurize and isolate the system completely before removing or installing any fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect end to achieve a proper seal. Verify BSPP thread compatibility on the mating port before installation, as BSPP is not interchangeable with NPT or BSP taper threads.
