The PARKER 68PLP-4-6G is a push-to-connect tube-to-male fitting configured as a straight male connector. It accepts 1/4-inch OD tubing on the push-to-connect end and connects to a 3/8-inch BSPP male thread on the opposite end. The body is nickel-plated brass with a silver finish, and the release button is made from black flame-resistant material rated to UL94 V-0. Rated to 300 psi maximum working pressure, this fitting handles operating temperatures from 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. Shut off system pressure and depressurize the line completely before installing or removing this fitting. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs before inserting into the push-to-connect end. Thread engagement should follow BSPP sealing practices, which typically rely on a bonded seal or O-ring face seal rather than thread-form sealing. Do not overtighten the threaded connection or force tubing into the connector at working pressure.
