The PARKER 68PLP-10M-4G is a straight push-to-connect male connector fitting designed for tube-to-male tube connections in compressed air and fluid distribution systems. It accepts 10mm outside diameter tubing and connects to a 1/4 inch BSPP male thread. The body is nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant applied to the internal components. A yellow release button enables fast, tool-free tube insertion and removal. Working pressure is rated to 300 psi, with a temperature range of 0 degrees F to 200 degrees F. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and pneumatic system installers work with these fittings regularly on both service and new-construction work.
This fitting is suited for residential and light commercial pneumatic lines, compressed air distribution, and fluid control plumbing where BSPP threaded ports are present. The push-to-connect design makes it a practical choice for tight-access installations or applications requiring frequent tube disconnects. The UL94 V-0 flame resistance rating on the internal components makes it appropriate for systems routed near ignition sources or where fire-resistance standards apply. Installers working on European or international equipment will recognize the BSPP thread standard commonly found on those systems.
Designed for use with 10mm outside diameter tubing and 1/4 inch BSPP male threaded ports. Suitable as a straight push-to-connect male connector in pneumatic and fluid distribution systems using BSPP thread standards.
Power down or depressurize the system fully before removing or installing any push-to-connect fitting. Verify the mating port is a 1/4 inch BSPP thread before installation, as BSPP and NPT threads are not interchangeable and improper mating will cause leaks. Insert tubing until it seats fully past the collet to ensure a secure, leak-free connection. This type of fitting is typically installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, or pneumatic system technicians following applicable local codes.
