The PARKER 68HD-4-2 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join tubing to a male NPT threaded port in hydraulic, pneumatic, and fluid system applications. The fitting features a compression end on one side and a 1/8 inch male NPT thread on the other, creating a reliable, leak-resistant connection without requiring soldering or flaring. Rated to 2100 psi maximum working pressure and capable of handling temperatures from -65 degrees F to 249 degrees F, this connector is built for demanding service conditions. It is installed by licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and fluid system technicians working on both residential and commercial equipment.
This fitting is suited for use in instrument air lines, refrigeration accessory piping, hydraulic control circuits, and general fluid transfer systems where a compression-to-MNPT transition is required. The compact brass construction makes it appropriate for tight-space installations. It ships in a quantity of one and carries a minimum order quantity of one, making it practical for single-point repair and maintenance work as well as new construction installations.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install compression connector for systems requiring a 1/8 inch male NPT port connection with a compression tube inlet.
Shut off system pressure and bleed all residual pressure before removing or installing any compression fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and is free of burrs before inserting into the compression end. Hand-tighten the compression nut, then use an appropriate wrench to achieve a proper seal without over-tightening, which can deform the ferrule. Installation should conform to applicable codes including ASME B31 piping standards and any local jurisdiction requirements.
