The PARKER 68CA-12-12 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join compression tubing to a male NPT threaded port in fluid and pneumatic systems. It features a 3/4-14 NPTF thread with a compression-by-male-NPT end configuration, allowing a secure, leak-resistant connection between tubing and threaded pipe fittings. Rated to 550 psi maximum working pressure, it handles temperatures from -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F, making it suitable for a wide range of service conditions. Plumbers, pipefitters, and HVAC technicians install this fitting where a permanent, vibration-resistant tube-to-pipe connection is required.
This connector is used in residential and commercial fluid handling, refrigeration, hydraulic, and pneumatic plumbing systems. It is well suited for installations where copper or compatible compression tubing must terminate at a threaded male NPT port on a valve, manifold, or equipment fitting. The NPTF thread standard provides a pressure-tight mechanical seal. Typical applications include process piping, equipment hook-ups, and control line plumbing where reliable sealing under moderate to high pressures is critical.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or new-installation fitting for compression tube-to-MNPT connections in residential and commercial plumbing, HVAC, and fluid system applications requiring a 3/4-14 NPTF threaded port.
Installation should be performed by a licensed plumber or pipefitter in accordance with applicable IPC or local plumbing codes. Depressurize and drain the system completely before removing or installing any compression fitting. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely and that the compression sleeve is seated properly before tightening the fitting nut. NPTF threads are designed to seal on the thread form itself; inspect threads for damage before assembly.
