The PARKER 66PLP-8M-2G is a push-to-connect elbow fitting designed to join an 8mm outside diameter tube to a female BSPP threaded port in a single 90-degree change of direction. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, the fitting is rated for up to 300 psi working pressure and a temperature range of 0 to 200 degrees F. The silver body with yellow release button makes push-in connection and disconnection fast and tool-free. Licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, and industrial piping specialists install this type of fitting in pneumatic and fluid control lines where compact elbow routing is required.
This elbow fitting is suited for residential and light commercial applications involving pneumatic control tubing, instrumentation lines, or fluid distribution systems using 8mm OD tube. The female BSPP thread end connects directly to ported valves, manifolds, or equipment panels. UL94 V-0 flame resistance rating makes it appropriate for installations where flammability compliance is specified. The silicone-free grease formulation is important in environments where silicone contamination is a concern, such as spray finishing or certain sensor applications.
Designed for use with 8mm outside diameter tubing terminating at a female BSPP threaded port. Suitable as an OEM-style push-to-connect elbow fitting in pneumatic and fluid control plumbing systems requiring BSPP thread engagement.
Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before removing or installing any push-to-connect fittings. Ensure the tube end is cut cleanly and squarely with no burrs before insertion — a damaged tube end will compromise the seal. Verify the mating port thread is BSPP before installation, as BSPP and NPT threads are not interchangeable. This fitting type is typically installed by licensed HVAC technicians, plumbers, or instrumentation technicians following applicable mechanical and pneumatic codes.
