The PARKER 66PLP-6M-4G is a straight push-to-connect female connector designed for tube-to-female tube connections in pneumatic and fluid systems. It accepts a 6mm outside diameter tube on one end and a BSPP female thread on the other, providing a quick, tool-free tube connection with a rated working pressure of 300 psi. Constructed from nickel-plated brass with a silicone-free grease lubricant, this fitting meets the UL94 V-0 flame resistance standard. It is suited for use in clean-air, instrumentation, and general industrial pneumatic lines where a compact, reliable straight connector is required.
This fitting is appropriate for residential and light commercial HVAC, refrigeration controls, pneumatic instrumentation, and general fluid-handling applications where push-to-connect fittings are specified. The BSPP thread type makes it particularly applicable in systems following British Standard Pipe thread conventions. The 6mm tube OD sizing is common in metric pneumatic and fluid control circuits. Licensed HVAC technicians, pipefitters, and instrumentation specialists typically install this type of fitting during panel assembly, equipment hookup, or tubing repair work.
Designed for use with 6mm outside diameter tubing and BSPP female threaded ports in pneumatic and fluid-handling systems requiring push-to-connect straight fittings.
Depressurize and de-energize the system completely before removing or installing any fittings. Confirm that the tube outside diameter is exactly 6mm and that the mating port uses BSPP threading before installation, as thread-type mismatches can cause leaks or fitting damage. Press the tube firmly into the fitting until it seats fully; to release, depress the yellow release button evenly while pulling the tube out. Refer to applicable pneumatic system codes and the equipment manufacturer guidelines for torque requirements on the threaded port side.
