The PARKER 66NTA-6-2 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join tubing to female NPT threaded ports in fluid and pneumatic line assemblies. It features a compression end on one side and a 1/8 inch FNPT end on the other, creating a secure, leak-resistant connection without soldering or flaring. Rated to 150 psi maximum working pressure and suitable for temperatures from -40 degrees F to 200 degrees F, this fitting is built for demanding service environments. The brass construction offers good corrosion resistance and is compliant with D.O.T. FMVSS571.106, SAE J1131, and SAE J246 standards. Installation should be performed by a qualified technician familiar with compression fittings and NPT thread standards. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before disassembly or installation. Compression fittings require proper tube squareness and full insertion into the fitting body before tightening the compression nut; overtightening can deform the ferrule and compromise the seal. Thread connections should be made in accordance with NPTF sealing practices without relying solely on thread sealant tape.
