The PARKER 66CA-5-2 is a brass compression tube connector designed to join tubing to female NPT threaded ports in fluid and pneumatic systems. It features a compression end on one side and a 1/8-27 FNPT end on the other, creating a secure, leak-resistant connection without soldering or flaring. Rated to 1200 psi maximum working pressure, it handles a wide service temperature range of -65 degrees F to 250 degrees F. The fitting is constructed from brass, making it well suited for use with air, water, hydraulic fluid, and many compatible gases. Licensed plumbers, HVAC technicians, and instrumentation mechanics are the primary installers.
This connector is used in residential and commercial applications where tubing must transition to a female NPT threaded port. Typical install scenarios include compressed air lines, refrigeration and HVAC instrumentation tubing, hydraulic control circuits, and general fluid transfer systems. The 1/8-27 thread size is common in instrument-grade and control-line applications. It is sold individually and is appropriate wherever a compact, high-pressure compression-to-FNPT connection is required.
Designed as an OEM-style replacement or direct-install compression connector for systems utilizing 1/8-27 FNPT ported components in fluid, pneumatic, and HVAC instrumentation applications.
Installation should be performed by a qualified plumber, HVAC technician, or instrumentation mechanic. Depressurize and isolate the line completely before removing any existing fitting or inserting the new connector. Ensure tubing is cut cleanly and squarely, and that the compression sleeve and nut are seated properly before tightening. Consult applicable codes including ASME and local plumbing or mechanical codes for pressure system work in your jurisdiction.
